At the heart of this programme was hands-on engagement. We provided multiple vehicles at each location and created structured test drive opportunities for MG employees and fleet partners. By experiencing the vehicles in real-world conditions, participants gained a deeper understanding of performance, technology, comfort and usability — insight that simply cannot be achieved through presentations alone.


These sessions played a vital role in ensuring that everyone speaking on behalf of MG could do so with genuine confidence and first-hand knowledge, strengthening conversations with leasing companies, user-choosers and corporate clients.


A Fully Managed Test Drive and Vehicle Control Solution


As a full-service automotive events agency, We Are Nameless provided a complete end-to-end management solution for these roadshows, giving MG total control, compliance and peace of mind throughout the programme.


We managed everything from test drive booking systems and live schedule management through to DVLA licence checks, driver eligibility verification and on-site test drive administration. This ensured every participant met OEM insurance requirements and that all driving activity was fully compliant, traceable and professionally managed.


Beyond the live events, we also managed the secure indoor storage of vehicles within our own facilities, along with ongoing vehicle charging and readiness planning. Cars were valeted, charged and rotated as required to ensure they arrived on site in perfect condition and were ready for action at every location. This holistic approach removes a significant operational burden for OEM teams and allows programmes to scale efficiently and safely.


By taking ownership of vehicle management, logistics, compliance and staffing, we enabled the MG team to focus on what they do best: relationship building, strategic conversations and long-term partnerships with their clients.

For this programme, MG selected our 6.5-metre premium lounge event unit, one of our most versatile and refined premium event units for hire. Finished in high-gloss black, the exterior delivers a strong, contemporary presence, while the interior features wooden acoustic panels that create a calm, luxurious environment ideal for detailed product discussions.


The unit was fully kitted out with freestanding furniture, leather chairs, Nespresso coffee machines, refrigeration and heaters — ensuring comfort and quality regardless of location or weather. Every detail was considered to align with MG’s evolving brand positioning and to provide a welcoming, premium experience for guests.


Off-Grid, Sustainable and Technologically Smart


A key innovation within this roadshow was the use of Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology. By harnessing power directly from the MG electric vehicles, we were able to operate the event unit entirely off-grid.


Lighting, hospitality equipment and event infrastructure were powered without the need for external generators or temporary mains connections. This approach not only simplified logistics but also reinforced MG’s commitment to smart, sustainable EV technology — demonstrating its benefits in a practical, real-world setting.


Looking Ahead to 2026

The success of this programme has reinforced the value of well-executed roadshows as a core part of automotive launch strategies. With a growing inventory of event units and vehicles, We Are Nameless is already planning an expanded programme of activations for 2026, supporting OEMs, fleet operators and partners across the UK.
